FOREWORD
As long as money remains in the heart of man the first criterion of success, it will erase all common sense that God can give and will lead, as he does today, to antagonisms between individuals, and between nations, but it will also bring us, contrary to what God offers us, to the destruction of our soul and what is more to that of our planet. All our past and present misfortunes are due to this rivalry by which the man justifies his notoriety towards the others to better impose himself and to be recognized sometimes of only one person, his mother or... In him the image of Jesus has not yet come to replace that of his carnal nature, and common sense richer than all the wealth of the world has not yet come to replace money, poorer than all the miseries of the world. God calculates the richness of man as opposed to us and that is why His righteousness is right, but our eyes are veiled by the values from which our soul draws its references.
As long as the rivalry is in the man, it stifles his common sense, because it is born of hatreds which can seem very childish many years after some currents of the life came to replace the first motivations. If man is not victorious of this rivalry in repentance and the practical refusal to perpetrate it, he will produce in him what Satan will use so that he is powerless to do the good he would like to do, but that he is able to do the wrong he would not want to do.
And the rivalry isn't the only mistake of the man!
